REGINA: Last Thursday, Concentra announced a donation of $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross, in support of the
Alberta Fires Emergency Appeal. Funds will be used by the Red Cross to provide assistance for over 85,000 people who were forced to evacuate from the city of Fort McMurray when out-of-control wildfires burned through the city last week.
In a message to Concentra employees across the country, President and CEO, Ken Kosolofski said, “As we watch Canadians, and specifically our credit unions colleagues across the country step-up to support relief efforts, Concentra wants to also play a small part and demonstrate our co-operative spirit.” He continued, “We are proud to come alongside credit union partners and Canadians from coast to coast. It's just what we do.”
Kosolofski encouraged Concentra staff to consider their own contribution to the Red Cross, as personal gifts to this relief effort will be matched by the federal government.
