Concentra Bank ("Concentra") is excited to launch its 11th annual Empowering Your Community campaign, in which we award grants to Canadian credit unions to bolster their support for community projects.
We are granting a total of $100,000 in support of community initiatives related to the environment, community, First Nations and innovation. Credit unions can apply for a chance to win one of 17 grants: three each valued at $10,000 and 14 each valued at $5,000.
"Now more than ever, support for communities is important," says Don Coulter, President and CEO of Concentra Bank. "Our purpose is to enable success, and teaming up with credit unions to empower communities is a great way to do that."
Credit unions are encouraged to submit a grant application detailing the exceptional project(s) that are making a difference in your community. Applicants should demonstrate strong credit union support for the project. For example, the project should be led or championed, supported financially, and demonstrates leadership in the community by your credit union. Projects should also focus on environment, community, First Nations, or innovation and provide sponsorship and brand recognition for Concentra.
A limit of two applications per credit union will be accepted. Applications will open on February 19, 2021 and close on March 19, 2021. Winners will be announced at Concentra’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders, April 13, 2021.
